Well, Joe has decided that he no longer has the time to work on this car, therefore, I now own it. |
Joe was going to transfer all of the mechanical parts from his yellow car to this one, that is why everything, and I mean everything, was removed from this car and either sold or used on the yellow one. |
Joe and I loaded this car into a 16' Penske rental truck. |
|
This shows the car bedded down for the drive from Gautier, MS to Plant City, FL. The drive was 600 miles and cost about $150 in gas. |
Because the truck was governed to 76 mph, we (Robin and I) made the trip in 8 1/2 hours. Here it sits in the garage on the boxes that Joe had the car originally stored on at his house. |
Here is a reference shot. The body and frame are in very good condition. |
|
Another reference shot of the outside. |
Here's a reference shot of the rear trunk. |
Here's the driver's hell hole. |
|
Here's the passenger's hell hole. Joe mentioned that he purchased this car 2 years ago in Atlanta, GA. The previous owned said the car had been rebuilt/ repaired by AA. |
Here's an interior reference shot. The center tunnel has been 'hacked' and will need to be repaired. BTW, that's the rear window on the floor. |
Here's a front trunk reference shot. The PO had removed the head light buckets. |
|
Here's a reference shot of the area underneath the fuel tank. All of the under dash motors and vents have been removed. |
Here's a reference shot of the rear firewall. You'll notice the 'hacked' center console. |
Here's a reference shot of the lower rear firewall in the engine compartment. |
|
Here's a close up of the rear firewall. I'll need to do some repair in this section. |
