Well, after spending several weeks prepping the doors, rear trunk lid and engine lid, I've been able to put the primer coat on.

Here's a shot of the rear trunk lid. I still need to sand this down, add a couple of more layers of reduced primer, then sand some more.

Well, I closed in the carport so that I could use it as a paint booth.

This shows the open end that I covered with visqueen and installed an exhaust fan.

This shows the car painted. I applied one light coat, then 2 heavier coats.

Another shot of the rear. BTW, it takes me about (4) hours to tape off the car. I tape the paper to the floor to keep from getting paint dust on the painted suspension parts.

After letting the car dry overnight, I rolled it out into the sunshine to finish drying.

Here's a close up of the rear trunk, remember, I replace the rear section of the floor.

After I moved the car outside, I hung the front and rear lids, both doors and the engine lid.

Here's the front lid. I only needed to spray the outside since I had already completed the front trunk area.
