Now that the hot summer is over I've decided to get back to working on this car. This weekend I'm going to install the rear trunk floor. The PO had already cut out the rear trunk floor. |

This show shows the area ready to begin the fitting process. I spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the dirt and grease underneath the car. Also, I removed all of the paint near the sides where the replacement piece will be welded to. |
This is the replacement piece. |
This shows the floor installed. I spent all day Saturday cleaning and trimming, finally tacking the floor in place. On Sunday, I spent the day butt-welding the floor to the cross member and seam welding the sides and rear section. |
