I removed the bottom portion of the center targa section. Also removed is the rusted area behind the plate that holds the door stricker, lower left hole. And finally, I removed the rusted area in the center of the panel.

I used AllMetal body filler to fill in the low spots. This is a metal body filler, as opposed to bondo.

Shot of the etched primer. I'll sand the primer with 220 grit, shoot with another regular primer, then weld the bottom half of the inner targa sheet metal.
