Another Tampa Bay 914 breakfast was held at the Cracker Barrel on I-4, exit 10, Seffner. The weather was perfect, a little cool on the drive in, but after the breakfast it was warming up nicely. Here's a shot of everyone standing around Steve's new Lotus Europa. |
Here's another shot of the Europa. I never did get a good side shot because everytime I went to take a shot people were standing around it. But, Steve did allow me to sit in the driver's seat. I was able to get in, but I'll never be able to drive the car. I can't use the brake pedal. I wear a size 12 shoe and the steering column goes directly over the brake pedal. Steve is a perfect fit, as long as he wears driving shoes or no shoes. |

Here's a shot of Bob's V8 engined car that was at the recent Lake Mirror car meet. |
Here's a shot of my car. |
|
Here's a shot of Glen's car. |
Here's a shot Doug's car. |
|
Here's a shot of Ed's car. This is the car that Ed drove cross-country, from Tampa to Las Vegas, for SEMA at the beginning of the month. |
Here's a close up of his interior. I sat in the car and those seats are very comfortable. Ed said that he never had any back troubles during the trip. |
|
Here's a shot of Ed's engine. He bought one of Renagade's first Subaru conversion. It's a very clean installation. |
Here's a shot of the radiator. Again, Ed bought the complete kit from Renagade's and again, a very clean installation. |
|
Here's a shot of everyone at breakfast. Starting from the left, there's Jill and Adam. Adam lives in PA, but comes down once a month to visit his girl friend Jill. Next is Ed and his friend Mike. Mike has assisted Ed with all the conversion of his current car. Next is Bob, Doug, Glen Steve and myself. |
Finally, here's a shot of some of the gifts that were brought by everyone. |
|
Here's another shot of the gifts, cars only. One of these gifts, was donated by Ian. Ian is currently stationed in Iraq and couldn't make it, but he was able to contribute. Ian, stay safe and we look forward to having you come home and join us for another TBB. I want to thank everyone for their participation in the breakfast and the gift giving. I know several members that attended and several that didn't would like to try to get together again before Christmas and bring some more gifts. |
