Cut up/Destroyed Cars |
| 1974, 914 S/N 4742916472, Yellow 2.0l manufactured xx/xx. I purchased this car in Palm Harbor, FL. The PO had
owned this car for 7 years and when he retired he decided to begin a restoration. After removing and dismantling the engine and the interior his
wife was transfered out of state and he decided not to take the car with him. I started stripping the sound-proofing tar, but found a lot of rust,
so I've decide to use this as a donor car the the LE |

| 1974, 914 S/N 4742918332, Blue (L96B), no engine/trans, manuf 12/73. I purchased this car in Gautier, MS. Originally I was
going to try to restore it, but after taking it apart, it was too rusted to justify the time and money to put it back together, therefore, I took all
usable parts off and cut up the rest. |

| 1974, 914 S/N 4742911495, Blue (L96B), 1.8l, manufactured 12/73. I purchased this car in Tampa, FL. This is my first project car
and the reason this web site was developed. I decided that I was going to use this car to practice my welding skills and learn how to take these cars apart. The
only reason I completely took this car apart and cut it up was I needed to move my shop. If I would have thought longer about cutting this car up, I wouldn't have.
I could have used the car itself as storage, instead of removing all of the parts, then storing them in a shed. |
